Bringing life into the world is no easy task; you deserve someone by your side to help you process and plan out one of the most impactful times of your life. That’s where I come in; I am here to help you plan, process and prepare for this major life event.

The Perinatal Support and Planning Package is for those seeking assistance with processing, planning and preparing for birth and postpartum. In our time together I will be a resource to you in your prenatal period to discuss your needs and desires for the various stages of your perinatal period, make plans for birth and the postpartum period, and hold space for processing this momentous change that you are experiencing. Over 4 2-hour sessions (virtual or in-person) in the prenatal period, we will cover the following together:

  • What to expect throughout perinatal period

  • Creating a Birth Plan

  • Labor & Birthing Positions/Pain management techniques

  • Educational resources/support group mapping

  • Tour birth centers if desired

  • Nutritional Info

  • Create a Postpartum Plan

  • Phone/Email Support throughout entire prenatal period

Please note that with this package I will not be present at your birth; this package is intended to provide emotional and

educational support up until your birth! I additionally offer in-person birth and postpartum support; see the sections below

The Labor and Birth Support Package is for those seeking support specifically with labor and delivery. During your 3 prenatal meetings we will discuss your needs and desires for labor and delivery, create a birth plan, and I will provide information and education around birthing. After our 3 prenatal meetings, I will be on call 2 weeks before your due date to attend your birth and provide physical and emotional support during your birthing experience. In your postpartum period, I will provide 2 visits to your residence to assist in transitioning to life with a newborn, support in newborn care and carry out any home tasks that would be valuable to you.

The Labor and Birth Support Package Includes:

  • 3 2-hour Prenatal Meetings that cover:

    • Creating a Birth Plan

    • Birth Education (pain management, birthing positions, birth options, etc)

    • Accompanying you to tour birthing centers if desired

    • Partner + family support and coordinating  

  • Attend the birth to provide physical and emotional support (and advocacy if desired)

  • 2 2-hour postpartum visits that include:  

    • Newborn Care Education

    • Emotional Support

    • Troubleshooting any concerns

The Postpartum Support Package is for those seeking support specifically with the postpartum period. Commonly referred to as the 4th trimester, this time is a sacred time where parents need the most support. As your postpartum doula, I can come to your residence 2-3 times per week for between 4-8 hours to support you in the following:

  • Household Support:

    • Carrying out light cleaning (baby + family dishes, baby laundry, tidying rooms, taking out garbage + recycling)

    • Walking + feeding pets

    • Grocery shopping

  • Newborn Support

    • Feeding support

    • Foundations of newborn care (changing diapers, feeding, soothing, sleeping)

    • Caring for baby so you can rest and take space for yourself

  • Birthing Parent Support

    • Emotional support

    • Space to process your experience

    • Support in creating a postpartum plan and care network

  • Open to discussing other ways of showing up for you that would be supportive during the postpartum period

Details:

  • Price: Sliding scale $45-$65 per hour
